Our Collection

The heart and soul of any good museum is its collection, and the EAA AirVenture Museum is no exception. Our collection of historic artifacts began in 1962 when Steve Wittman donated his famous air racer “Bonzo” (pictured right) and the EAA Air Museum was founded. Since then it has flowered into a magnificent assortment of over 20,000 historic aviation objects.
